This is a rather large IMAA legal semi-scale model of the famous WWI trainer.  Highly prefabricated in balsa and ply including the painted and detailed fiberglass cowling.  Includes all hardware required for flight except for 4-6 channel radio (6 channel recommended) and a 40-50cc gas or 160-180 glow engine.  It would be a good candidate for electric conversion, there is plenty of room for the ESC and batteries in the cowl and fuselage.  Has an instruction manual and assembly DVD to guide you through the assembly process.

Assembly at the field is simple and fast.  The wing panels on each side stay rigged to each other and attach to the fuselage and center wing panel with 4 bolts and 2 wing tubes.  The plane can be assembled and ready to fly in less than 2 minutes.  Disassembly is just as fast with the plane breaking down into 3 pieces, it will fit in a short bed pickup.

In the air, the Jenny looks just like the full scale airplane.  It flies very slowly and is easy to fly with no bad habits.  Basic aerobatics are just what you would expect with a plane like this, slow and easy.  It would make a good first giant scale airplane.
